Our Story

At 12 months old, Hannah, my first child, started showing signs of autism and developmental delay. After exploring all the conventional options of developmental pediatrics, neurologists, speech, occupational, and physical therapy we were stuck and not making progress. At 24 months Hannah was still not sleeping for more than 2 hours at a time, being awake every night for hours. She was nonverbal, wasn't walking, and overwhelmed with sensory issues most of the day, screaming and crying and unable to make eye contact or interact with peers or family. At age 3 we started the GAPS diet and saw immediate improvement with sleeping through the night (8 hours!), sensory issues, eye contact, and speech.

As she has grown we have settled on the best diet for her, which is a meat-heavy keto with plenty of fermented foods, fats, and quality protein. Now in Jr. High, Hannahs teachers also notice a huge difference with her ability to learn, process information, and even balance and muscle tone when she is on the appropriate diet.
